Green River Reservoir, Morrisville, VT

GREEN RIVER RESERVOIR TRIP
SATURDAY AUGUST 8, 2009

For all that couldn't make this paddle... I'm here to tell that it was incredible! So beautiful and so much to explore. We were all in agreeance that it is definately a do over and over and over. no power boats and a lot of loon activity. although the lake was busy you never felt crowded or unwelcome. Everyone we met was super friendly. I will post when we pick a day to head over again, probably after labor day though.I encourage anyone looking for a serene place to explore for hours or even camp for cheap, head over to the Green River Reservoir in Morrisville, Vt.

Peggy Branch was the winner of our drawing. She recieved a Quiet Water book that a lot of you are familiar with. Peggy had recently purchased this book and generously gave it to another member (Mary Northrop).Thank you Peggy, you are inspiring to us all!
