Well, it's that time of year once again. Autumn is officially one week away from today, And the ever amazing forest that surrounds us are proudly displaying their brilliant colors and will be bidding us fairwell all too soon. The crispness is in the air again and corn stalks, pumpkins and fall mums are showing up everywhere you look.
Fall paddling is my favorite time of year to get out on the water; it's very quiet and the dry smell of falling leaves and pine needles leave a heady scent in the crisp autumn air. Overhead the Canada geese are forming their infamous "V" with their loud honking, bidding us fairwell also.
It has been a great season for women on water, we hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have and will join us for our last paddle on Squam lake in October.
Happy Fall paddling...remember to dress warm and be safe.
Pam and Valerie
